Dr. Abru Paul is an accomplished Anesthesiologist with comprehensive training and clinical expertise in the field of anesthesiology and critical care. He completed his MBBS from Sree Siddhartha Medical College (2012–2018) and pursued advanced training in Anesthesiology from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute (MGMCRI) (2020–2023). He is also a proud member of the Indian Society of Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Abru has considerable teaching experience, having conducted classes for undergraduate medical students and Allied Health Sciences students. He is actively involved in Acute Pain Services and serves as part of the Resuscitation and Emergency Response Team at MGMCRI, contributing significantly to patient safety and emergency preparedness.
His advanced training covers a wide range of specialties, including Cardiothoracic, Pediatric, and Neuroanesthesia, as well as ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, crisis management, and simulation-based training protocols. He is skilled in perioperative goal-directed therapy, labor analgesia, emergency and trauma case management, and critical care, including management of both closed and COVID ICUs.
Dr. Abru Paul holds Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association and has completed a Basic Course in Biomedical Research through SWAYAM. His clinical competence, academic involvement, and dedication to patient-centered care make him a valuable addition to the anesthesiology team.
