Social Initiatives at Smita Memorial Hospital
The Social Service Department at Smita Memorial Hospital serves the health needs of people from all walks of life, regardless of class, caste, religion or social background. It bridges the gap between disadvantaged patients and modern medicine, supporting cancer patients and other underprivileged individuals.
With Helping Hand — a Mumbai-based NGO founded by Mrs. Geeta S. Advani and Dr. Suresh H. Advani, which opened its branch at Smita Hospital in 2022 — the department has conducted over 200 medical camps, awareness programmes and blood donation drives.
