Dr. Vinayak Nandhanan is a dedicated and highly skilled Consultant Pulmonologist with expertise in managing respiratory diseases and complex lung conditions. He completed his MBBS as the Best Outgoing Student from Wuhan University School of Medicine and went on to earn his MD in Tuberculosis and Respiratory Medicine from Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College, Puducherry.
He gained extensive clinical experience as a Senior Resident at Believers Church Medical College Hospital and later served as a Consultant Pulmonologist at MGM Muthoot Hospital, Kozhenchery, for more than two years. His areas of specialization include airway diseases such as asthma, COPD, and bronchiectasis, as well as interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer, and pulmonary vascular disorders.
Dr. Vinayak is proficient in a wide range of interventional procedures, including bronchoscopy, pleuroscopy, and ultrasound-guided pleural interventions. He also manages pulmonary rehabilitation programs, sleep-related breathing disorders, and provides comprehensive care for tuberculosis and other respiratory infections of bacterial, viral, and fungal origin. In addition, he is trained in allergy skin prick testing and offers smoking cessation counseling.
