Dr. Varkey Sabu Kulangara is a highly accomplished Orthopedic Surgeon with extensive training and expertise in a wide range of orthopedic procedures. He completed his MBBS at Government Medical College, Trivandrum, and went on to earn his MS in Orthopedics from Government Medical College, Thrissur. He further achieved the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Orthopedics and was awarded Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in 2022. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS RCSEd), reflecting his commitment to continuous professional excellence.
Dr. Varkey specializes in joint replacement surgeries, minimally invasive techniques, sports injuries, and complex trauma management. Over the course of his career, he has independently performed more than 2,800 trauma surgeries and over 150 arthroplasty cases. His expertise also includes knee arthroscopy, intra-articular injections, and both open and closed fracture reduction.
