Dr. Thara Augustine is a dedicated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with advanced training in microsurgery, aesthetic surgery, and breast reconstruction. She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam, followed by MS and DNB in General Surgery from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and further specialized with an M.Ch. in Plastic Surgery from Government Medical College, Trivandrum, where she secured First Rank in the Final Examination (2023). She has extensive clinical and surgical experience across Kerala’s premier medical institutions, serving as Consultant Plastic Surgeon at NIMS Hospital, Neyyattinkara, and Senior Resident in the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Government Medical College, Trivandrum. Her work spans trauma reconstruction, aesthetic and breast surgery, microsurgery, burns management, and congenital deformity correction. Dr. Thara has contributed to research and publications in international journals, presented papers at leading plastic surgery conferences, and actively participated in collaborative multi-centric trials. She has also delivered invited lectures and training sessions for medical staff.
