Dr. Agil Abraham

Dr. Agil Abraham is a highly skilled General and Laparoscopic Surgeon with extensive training and experience. He completed his MBBS from Pariyaram Medical College, Kannur, and earned his MS in General Surgery from Government Medical College, Kottayam. He further enhanced his expertise by completing a Fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery.

Dr. Abraham began his professional career in 2008 as Chief Medical Officer at Deva Matha Hospital, Koothattukulam. He later served as a Senior Resident in the Department of General Surgery at Government Medical College, Kottayam, during 2013–2014. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as a Consultant Surgeon at Deva Matha Hospital, followed by a tenure at KIMS Multi-Specialty Hospital in 2017–2018. Since 2018, he has been serving as a Consultant Surgeon at Chazhikattu Multi-Super Speciality Hospital, where he continues to provide advanced surgical care.

His areas of expertise include general and laparoscopic surgery, thyroidectomy, breast surgeries, hernia repairs, colorectal surgeries, biliary procedures, anorectal surgeries, and trauma management. He is also experienced in advanced minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic appendectomy, laparoscopic ventral hernia repair, and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. In addition, Dr. Abraham performs specialized procedures such as laser haemorrhoidectomy, laser varicose vein surgery, salivary gland surgery, circumcision, hydrocele repair, and other intestinal and colonic surgeries.
