Dr. Abey served as an Assistant Professor at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences for two years before moving to Kerala. There, he worked as a Junior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Raihan Institute of Medical Sciences, Kottayam. In 2016, he successfully cleared his DNB Orthopaedics exams.
